Ok bloghoppers!
It's been two months of no updates. Well, if previously, my life's a bore, now it has become bore-errrrrr! Ok my internship is not going so well, just as i am reaching the 2nd month period of this freaking programme, i have become more and more demotivated. Not sure why, but a routine life is just not for me....previously i have mentioned that i was soooo looking forward to it, and a month had passed, and i felt that it was the longest one month ever. the only thing that kept me moving on was just the thought of killing the time productively before i continue my postgrad studies.
there's a good news as well, i have managed to obtained overall score of band 7.5 and 7.0 in writing for my ielts, now i am qualified to apply, just that i have to come up with 2 references and a personal statement for the application. life's hard huh???
to sum this little post that i managed to write today. i am unhappy, and i'm not sure why....shucks!
adieu~

Okies Cookies
Well hello there reader.
I guess it is unlucky for you that you bumped into my lame blog. If you decided to stay and read for a while, you are most welcome dearest :) In advance, thank you xx
I know that there isn't any update here, well....life's a bore when you're a bore, that's me. A plain Jane. Anyhow, any who, anyways....here's a lil some in' some in'
Writing to kill the time when I should be sleeping right now, it is 3 a.m. and I am wide awake. Reading about the master controller mod of the sims 3, which makes no sense to me ( I am not actually tech savvy) and because of that, I'm a little disappointed. Haha...I'm trying to make a purdy sims...
Truth is....I think I'm too old to be playing imaginary games, when I should be serious in applying for postgrad studies, reading on the requirements, core subjects -----> essay paper!! scary!! dissertation!! uber scary!!!
But I am not chickening out of it. Gonna face it like a tough chick :)
Chick? Chicken???
Apart from that, this week will be the last week of holidays for me as life's getting serious, I will start an internship programme for the period of 8 months. A paid internship, which is flexible and in accordance to what I want and my liking. I'll be part of the corporate comm and gov relations dept. in a very well known organisation in Malaysia. Issit? I know for the fact it's big.
*Flashback*
They asked me why I didn't look for a job for good and move on with life during the interview...and I answered. I want to learn and prepare myself.
Wanna know the truth?
Lack of confidence. Lack of motivation (continuing postgrad)
Therefore, I'm going to use this learning opportunity for good. :) Build up the confidence. A new life starts on 17th October 2011.
Enough crapping for the day... adieu

Movies and Virus
Hello,
It just felt like such a long time that I haven't update this lil thing. Due to lack of interesting info in my life, I've decided that it is better that I leave this blog alone.
Well,
Yesterday I decided to watch Johnny English and Contagion. Yes, two movies in one day. Well, Johnny English was great for a good laugh. It's Rowan Atkinson, so what do you expect right?? And Contagion was not really memorable. But it was a movie with a message. First, don't trust rumours and duh! not everything on the net is true. And stop being so paranoid; this refers to the weaponised thingy.
Contagion was based on a true story, many may relate it to H1N1 disease, as it was the recent contagious virus that had been spread worldwide. In fact, the movie is actually based on the incident happened in Malaysia back in 1998, which is called the Nipah Virus. And....it is Malaysian whom actually found the vaccine for the virus. C'est pas americain.
In 1998, I was 10 years old. So, I wasn't paying much attention to such disease as my father told me that it got something to do with the pigs. Yeah, we actually had to kill a lot of pigs here in Peninsular Malaysia, to avoid the virus from spreading. I remembered that.
How the virus exist in the first place, it actually explained in the movie. I don't wanna spoil it here. As for merely reviewing the movie, it was not a boring, serious type of movie. It is serious but not boring.
That's it for now.

Serious change
As I mentioned earlier, since I had that wonderful nap of mine...at 4 a.m. I can't sleep. While I was watching the second season of sex and the city, my mind wandered off the show. As time passed, I know that I have to get serious with this application of post-grad studies. OK, application is always going to be meticulous and I know that I can handle it. It is the fact of being a student studying International Relations that scares me.
Why??
It is because I haven't prepared myself for it. All I did was watching some silly TV series and I perfectly knew that I should be reading on serious foreign relations stuff. Issues regarding the world and I am supposed to have some thoughts about it. But, the truth is...I haven't done any of that. Therefore, my knowledge is zero.
Then, how am I supposed to handle discussions??? God! that this scares me...
So, I think that I need to make some serious change in my life. Going back to reality and the holiday is over!
Wish me luck :)

Silly
It is so silly of me to take a nap at 9 p.m. Now at 12 a.m. I am wide awake and I know that I will only get to bed at 6 in the morning. Not only that, I took my nap in less than an hour after dinner. Later, I know that I'll be saying that I'm fat and such, but the fact is....I just didn't take good care of my body.
Lately...I have been feeling that my body isn't in a very good form, and I'm only 22. I just don't have the strength and stamina like i used to. That is why the current obsession with all the physical activities happened. I just want to be the person that i used to be.
I only got myself to blame.

Insomnia
It is 2.45 a.m.
And, I can't sleep. I'm not insomniac by the way. When I was studying or working I had no problem going to bed early, because I was exhausted, but now as I am free, it was kind of hard for me just to sleep early. Maybe I have seasonal insomnia, like seasonal depression.
Oh well, I have just finished watching the first season of sex and the city, I know that it's like wayyy outdated, but at this age watching it...I can finally understand the series. I was watching the second movie of it on HBO the other day...and I was curious to know how the series actually is, so I search for it and give it a try. It was fun. Hehe
And now, I am writing...don't I just feel like Carrie Bradshaw right now?? haha dans ma reve! If only i had my own column. If I have. what would it be about??? And my writing isn't that great anyways. One of the reasons why I set up a blog, is to practice writing. I just hope it works.
Apart from that, I just feel that writing gives me a peace of mind. I can actually vent, but I do need to self-censor myself here. It doesn't substitute an actual person. HEE
Now, I will move to season 2. hehe. Time for some therapy?
A la prochaine fois :)

Just a lil update
Bonsoir tout le monde!
I felt like it has been ages that I hadn't update anything. I was in the area where there is no internet connection (for me at least). Well, in the past few weeks I was busy with all the preparations and celebration of eid mubarak. It was hectic but yet fun because of the visiting and gathering with the family members. The usual.
A lot of drama also happened in my life, but my blog isn't about trash talking and dropping names...I've passed that phase.
As the month of Ramadhan had passed, I've started doing my circuit. A brutal exercise circuit but the outcome of it is splendid. Now, I am so pumped to do adventurous activities that I used to love. Current curiosity are hiking, water rafting or water tubing. Hehe. (I've never did those things)
My dream now is to have a ripped body. HAHA
Not only that, I have also missed speaking French, sort of missed learning the language.
And...a little update about what I'm going to do, I'm going to take IELTS soon, but I haven't go through the application process and such, will get that settled soon. Once, I get my result, I am thinking about going for consultation for my postgrad studies in the UK as well as other parts of Europe. Seriously hoping for Belgium, there's Kent Uni there, in Brussels. The main reason for Brussels is that some people speak French, so maybe I can learn and practice it there and still studying and do my dissertation in English.
Oh well, as a human I can only plan, it is God who makes the decision.
A la prochaine fois!
Au revoir :)
p/s: I've been neglecting this blog for so long. The interface has an update. It really has been ages. :P

Annoyance
Annoyance...agacement (dans le francais)
What does it mean? Let me just get the definition from wikipedia (this isn't academic writing paper anywayss)
OK. According to wikipedia, annoyance is an unpleasant mental state that is characterized by such effects as irritation and distraction from one's conscious thinking. It can lead to emotions such as frustration and anger. The property of being easily annoyed is called petulance, and something which annoys is called a nuisance. (directly copied and pasted from wiki, I did not even paraphrase it)
Why suddenly the focus on annoyance?? I know that writing about a nuisance does not really worth my time, but it is just something that I would like to blab about today, since somebody in my past had suddenly emerged earlier today and decided to annoyed me with false accusation. I can't help it that it makes me angry. But, with a clear conscience I decided to blocked that person from my facebook and move on. I'm angry because 'a person' disturb my mani and pedi session. Won't say much about that person because this blog is public (I guess my standards are higher)
Regardless, I managed to get my french manicure done and painted my toes with a very soft skin coloured nail polish. I dislike my french manicure, it is not done to my liking, I prefer thinner tips, rather than the thicker tips that the manicurist did on my nails.
After the mani and pedi session, I had to rushed to city centre for my English class. Since, our teacher is on holiday, the temp/sub teacher did not taught us much. Just a revision on past tenses...and we played some language games. Had to break fast in the class, I had trois petit croissants et l'eau minerale, c'est tout.
Class ended at 9.30 p.m. as usual, went back and had my dinner. Catch up on pretty little liars and also true blood. FYI, I didnt watch spartacus (yet)......and now I'm updating my blog. My life aint that interesting huh? Oh, well...that's about it for today. And I'm kind of sleepy....
My next post will be longer than it should due to the eid celebration. I'll be going on visiting few relatives and won't have much time to go online and write....donc, a la prochaine fois :)

Trial
My connection is super bad here as i attempt to write from my current location, which is Shah Alam, where, I don't have any stable internet connection other than this limited broadband plan than i signed for.
I read my blog posts just to see how it turns out, well....let me criticise myself. Well gal! You're too repetitive (Yes, I'm referring to myself as the third person) It seems that I have been talking about the same things over and over again. Therefore, I will try to change it. This might just caused by me not having any content to blog on.
New topics began to emerged as i wrote about room designs and the new show that I'm into. So better topic next time??
J'espere
Now, I better get back to Spartacus. (First time watching it)

Hello readers, if I have any.
The time now is 7.00 a.m. and I can't sleep. I know it's bad, but being as free as I am, I am trying to fill my time with nonsense things to do. I am currently hooked with pretty little liars, watched the whole first season and was captivated by the thriller element of the TV series.....Though, I am still fond of gossip girl, anticipating for the upcoming season.
Well, the only reason that I am writing right now is that I can't sleep. Don't really have any ideas on what to blog on today. Probably will update more later today....
I'll keep on posting :)

The shade of taupe
Bonjour!
TGIF
Haha...whatever the day is makes no difference for me, as I have all the time in world. The shade of taupe is the colour of my current blog, which is the one you're reading right now, on this date.... Why all of a sudden the color scheme???
Well, I am currently looking for ideas for bedroom designs. It is hard for me because on one hand I'm really into this victorian goth-ish designs and on the other hand I really like the vintage cosy designs. Yes, indecisive me! And i remember the color taupe, and i was talking about it with my boyfriend and said well, I'm tired of green this time. (green is my favourite colour) would probably go for taupe. And he asked, what is taupe...well, dearest boyfie, my blog is taupe!
Not to digress, as I was browsing earlier today, I've finally decided on the design. Instead of going for a single theme, I think I will combine both of it and call it my eclectic design. I made my decision by looking at this picture.
It is sort of vintage and goth-ish. The dark colored wall gives it the goth edge and the furniture exudes vintage atmosphere . But instead of going with this colour, I'm thinking about changing it to maroon or wine red, because personally, i think that this colour is overrated, I've seen a lot of room with this colour. For the curtain I'm thinking of pale taupe, because I don't want the room to be gloomy. In my opinion a gloomy room attracts negative energy.
These are the colours that I have in mind

J'ai froid
Oh yes I'm cold. It's basically raining the whole day, and the temperature is so, so nice. And...it makes me sleepy.
Nothing interesting to share today, probably would like to bash more on MLM, but I'm not in the mood right now. After I wrote my previous post, I went out for facial, I did microdermabrasion, my first time, hope that it works for my skin (hoping for soft, smooth skin). Well, for those who knows me, yes I am struggling with my skin, it has not been in good condition for ages, I started to have problems in 2005.
I did the facial at Aleema, located in Wangsa Maju, nearby Wangsa Walk Mall, chose the place randomly, went for normal facial few weeks back. I like the result and now going for microdermbrasion treatment that cost me RM150, it seems reasonable. Here's their site http://aleema.com.my/
As for the staff, they are nice....not pushy. They don't push you into buying Aleema's product. It is clean....and unlike the one that i used to go to at Shah Alam, trying to push you to get the more expensive treatment, and the staff talk about their personal matters while giving us treatment (seriously I'm not interested to know about your scandalous life)...but I am sticking to the products I'm currently using, which is acne aid and collagen moisturiser (that cost us a fortune). Me and my mom shared the moisturiser as it can treat both pigmentation and acne problems.
Hoping for better skin this coming eid. :)

Je n'aime pas, c'est triste
Bonjour!
Il fait pluie
Oh how i love the rain, yes, it is raining in Malaysia (as if that's not normal). It is a lovely day here today and I woke up, took a shower and read some blogs, that is my norm these days. It's either browsing through the world wide web, or playing the sims. (That explains my daydreaming traits) And also job hunting (looking for temp jobs)
As i have mentioned in my previous post, that I am keen in setting up a small business. (I wanna sell shoes actually). Therefore, I look for opportunities and stumble upon an unbelievable idea...or should I say extraordinary income, we're talking about 6 figures every month, and it is done by somebody, whom credibility is unknown.
So....trying not to be shallow, and thinking that this must be a scam....for sure (btw real business people don't flaunt their profits) and some of my facebook friends are currently into these kind of things and filling my homepage with nonsense, that myself at first was intrigued in joining them. Who doesn't love $$$$$
With that little interest that I have, I talked to my boyfriend. He told me at first he too was interested in those things and I opposed it (really??) and he did a little research and found this blog http://aididmuaddib.blogspot.com (it's mostly in malay, and pardon his vulgar words) The writer backs up his writing with facts and I can see by the way he writes that he's an academician or some sort.
The business that they claim to do (my facebook friends) is actually a Multi-Level-Marketing that sells overpriced products which claims to have medical benefits, as it could cure certain illnesses. Apart from that, they said the product uses high-technology, which is actually non-existent. Sure the product is good, I'm not bashing it, just that it's overpriced, and those people who purchased it are simply paying more than they should.
I would like to drop a name here, the MLM company that generate a little interest in me is Hai-O Marketing (Do try to google this, and look at what came up). I'm sharing this because I don't want any other individuals (especially Malaysians) to fall into such scam and in the end loses more money. And remember, it is not a business, they are lying to people (and as a muslim, you know what that means). They pull people in with that so called 6 figures income and free vacation abroad, that's their M.O. Do click on the link above and read his blog. But the decision is all yours.

Productive...NOT, Daydreaming a LOT
Bonsoir!
Today's activities are very unproductive. As those who knows me, I am currently unemployed. Not something to be proud of, and trust me, i don't like it either. Yes, I do enjoy lazing, but when it prolongs for months, it is not fun. Though I am offered some interview sessions, I seem to decline all of them, why?? Well, let's just say that I am the type who works with passion. If I ain't love the job, I ain't doing it.
Referring to the aforementioned sentence, the last one....My mother's words of wisdom seems to echoed "Like what you do, don't do what you like." As for that, my action just contradicts everything that she said.
Enough about being depressed due to lack of exposure in the real world. Although I am unemployed, I do find things to do during my "vacation period". I'm improving myself by taking English course, half way through French course (yes, I quit) and researching for universities....Going for postgrad y'all!!! haha
In digression, I continue to find things to do, short term things that are beneficial, let's just say.....a small business perhaps? I love making money, and spend them. (Who doesn't?), not only that....I want to go and see beautiful places, it was fortunate that i have been given the chance to see Paris, Dubai, Perth, Singapore?? haha, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. In Europe is by far the longest I have stayed. 3 months in Paris taught me a lot in being independent....(tapi balik Malaysia, back to the old ways jugak!!!) But that's not the point. The point is I want to travel and immerse myself with foreign cultures (am i using the correct preposition??? should i use in??)
Therefore, I will definitely seek the kind of job that would allow me to travel n stay en pays inconnu (foreign land). Oh how i wish that life is perfect, but it is not :(
Today's activities are very unproductive.
Oh how i wish that life is perfect, but it is not :(

buyers' remorse!
Bonjour!
In reference to the title given for this post, I am so mad with myself as for doing something that I am not supposed to. Just like that rm350 just flew off my purse as I (stupidly) indulged myself doing hair treatment. Yes, my hair is severely damaged, due to coloring it (blonde strips) but I have done treatment before and the maximum cost was only 80 bucks. This by far the most expensive hair treatment I did. Arh! i should've gone for facial treatment with that price, as i need it more than doing my hair. :(
As for today, that's it for buyers' remorse. Lesson learnt, hope for better judgement in upcoming purchase of products and services.
I still need the facial though.

Lonely
Hello fellow blog hoppers,
Being unemployed is no fun, it makes me feel a little bit lonely at times. Everybody else seems to have things going on, while I am here, stuck in the same place. Everyday, i watched TV, do the wifely duty (although I am not a wife in that matter of fact). That same old thing....life's a bore!
Currently, I have just started an English course at British Council, I was placed in an upper-intermediate level, basically it was easy, but i cant actually relate to the course as it talks about businesses, like what organisation do you belongs to....that sort of things, but I have not even enter the job market (just yet). But I am looking forward to any exercises that pertains inputs or insights on report writing, vocabulary and grammar.
Enough on that serious stuff. Actually i am missing all those adventures i had during the 3 months stay in Paris, so many ups and downs, but i have to say all is good. I have stumbled upon my dear partner's blog, while i was blog hopping, she is such a sweet and nice girl. very cute, but sometimes annoying hehe (but u know what, that annoyance actually makes me misses her even more)
It was funny actually how we had started our journey, everything seems to be out of hand, from the accommodation to transport...like literally everything, but we were fortunate enough to be introduced to such nice people there in Paris, Along Deeno gave us the kick start in life there by giving his map, we explore the metro together, i have the upper hand in this matter as i can read a little bit of french, we ran away from our resident, because the manager is so not nice :( (i have to say that it was the peak of the adventure moments that running away incident) haha
Oh when will I experience such thing again~

I am lame as usual
The clock shows that it is 3.30 a.m. As the holidays pass by, my sleeping hours had been terrible, i slept normally around 5 in the morning and woke up around 2 p.m.! How bad is that? Regardless whether i woke up slightly earlier lets' say 10 a.m. i will still be going to bed in the early hours of the morning. How i hate it actually.
Okay! so now, here's a little update about yours truly. I have just obtained my bachelor degree, and currently job hunting, i would like to pursue my studies to the higher level, since communication graduates (in my opinion) required to have a master degree in order to secure better jobs or lessen the time in climbing up the corporate ladder.
As you may refer that previously, i have attended a language course (french) and have not actually doing quite well, though, i can now call myself a basic french speaker, (ha ha..have not even pass the intermediate level) but that is ok right? (just justifying with myself) and tomorrow, or later today i might say i will finalised my enrollment with british council. i am taking a professional english course as i want to develop my language skill in order to utilise it when i am actually working.
Taken the placement test, and my level is upper-intermediate. Hah! the difference between the level of language is pretty obvious there. After all, we (malaysia) have been occupied by the brit long ago, and english is being taught like forever here in Malaysia. But, i still love french and france. haha
Ok, kinda ran out of juices to share. Till next time

Pas de nouvelles pour trois mois
Bonjour tout le monde!
I guess I still have the Paris fever even after few months here in Malaysia. Ouh Paris, the city of love... l'amour..that's what I'm currently feeling right now, deeply in love with the city of the foreign.
I guess i just have lost all the excitement of writing right now, nothing had ever interest me in updating this blog. I am basically writing because i am bored and i cant sleep. The same old reason. Duhhh..Ilya is such a boring person.
So let's just get it on. after returning from the city of love, i am so hung up over it that i enrolled myself to french class. i basically sat for it for a month plus and decided to quite because it is so depressing. No BS, i was depressed, je n'aime plus mon professeur et je pense je peux apprend le langue on my own. bought all the necessary books but haven't start on it yet.
I filled my days with crime fiction and all those racy novels...bah oui, pourquoi pas. je suis libre en fait, j'ai finis mes etudes en avril, apres le stage, je n'ai pas faire qqchse. oh isnt life great. (to be honest i felt like a loser). i have decided to continue my study to a higher level...yeah masters....and have been researching for a while.
Wanted to do it in France, but the language barrier was too much....writing a thesis in French...have u seen my French????? refer the aforementioned please. So i have decided to pursue it in the Royaume-Uni (United Kingdom) Donc, j'ai decide que je dois apprendre les cours de l'anglais.
That's it for now.
Bonne nuit!

A lot had happened in Paris, and it's only 3 weeks left for me here, to be honest, i cant wait to be home, sick and tired of the cold weather, i just missed home badly, missed my friends, and right now, really miss teh tarik and pisang goreng and cendol, and nasi ayam melawati, and rojak mamak, rojak buah, and laksa nyonya, kueh angku, bingka ubi..waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
look at that sweet tea!!! teh tarik, i miss you!!
oh hott banana fritters!!!! pisang goreng!
and cendol, which i can just get it from few steps away from home :(
ohh n my fave kueh angku, though not all malays favor it, its a nyonya delicacies, so it falls somewhere in between malay n chinese :) gonna get u once im back!!!
*aww food, seriously the malaysians, you can take us out of malaysia, but you cant take malaysia out of us. haha. Malaysia tetap dihati :)
apart from that, last week i have visitors, so was playing the role of the host in Paris. teeheehee...the girls from Rotterdam came n we had tons of fun, which cause my illness now.. i think, cause it was really cold last week, although its sunny. And now the girls from Frankfurt came, they're already here in Paris, but i am in serious need of rest. haha. might be seeing them later. :)

Love with a stranger
Marie Digby's love with a stranger song has been on my mind for quite sometime now...not sure why, like the lyric tho
You close the door, made your way to me, slowly
Lay down next to me, trace the outlines of my face
This wasn't part of the plan, I was just on my way
But you make me comfortable
This is love with a stranger
Just a touch is enough
I let go with a stranger
Just to see, if I still feel
No questions please don't ask
Please don't worry about the past
This is love with a stranger
When I walk out the door
You wont see me no more
This is love with a stranger
I drifted away, lost myself in the current
Let my eyelids fall heavy, hypnotized by our heart beat
You close the door, made your way to me, slowly
Lay down next to me, trace the outlines of my face
This wasn't part of the plan, I was just on my way
But you make me comfortable
This is love with a stranger
Just a touch is enough
I let go with a stranger
Just to see, if I still feel
No questions please don't ask
Please don't worry about the past
This is love with a stranger
When I walk out the door
You wont see me no more
This is love with a stranger
I drifted away, lost myself in the current
Let my eyelids fall heavy, hypnotized by our heart beat
This wasn't part of the plan, I was just on my way
But you make me comfortable
This is love with a stranger
Just a touch is enough
I let go with a stranger
Just to see, if I still feel
No questions please don't ask
Please don't worry about the past
This is love with a stranger
When I walk out the door
You wont see me no more
This is love with a stranger
I barely even know your name
Be easy let keep it this simple
Just enjoy the moment, baby
Relax and just close your eyes
When you wake up in the morning light
Don't act like you're surprised
I'll dissappear through the night
I'll vanished like a ghost
This is love with a stranger
Just a touch is enough
I let go with a stranger
Just to see, if I still feel
This is love with a stranger

WHOA!!!!
Ok this time it took me like super long to write anything...I know that i should be writing more often, get my flares back. LOL
So, this is what happened, Dubai was great, one part of it was awesome!!! Dune bashing, or desert safari..it was cool, its a little bit expensive but worth doing/going.
And now regarding the news i talked about in my previous post, I am in PARIS, FRANCE as I am writing right now doing stage ici avec MATRADE.(Photos are on facebook) :) Remeber that i talked about i was selected for the mobility programme?? Well this is the outcome of it...I was happy beyond words when i found out about it, as for my final result it was ok, it didn't go down, but it didn't go up as many tho...but i managed to obtain a 3.5 cgpa...i hope that's ok for work or maybe for continuing my masters abroad. (fingers crossxxxx) hehe
I have been in Paris for about a month now, (time really flies when you're having fun) and I enjoyed my stay here, meeting people from all over the world, learning new cultures (which i think i like, comfortable with), trying to open up my mind...and believe me, being abroad without parents is one experience that everybody should go through...meet the people here, exchange POVs, and you know what....i feel so small here..so stupid sometimes, the people studying here, their knowledge is superb...general knowledge included ok! LOL
well a month had pass, 2 months to go....(wish i could stay here longer..sobs)
